Starcraft 2 Guide Ultimate

This post will tell you more about a guide that is getting a lot of awesome feedback called Shokz Starcraft 2 Strategy Guide and as the name suggests it is a guide that is showing people the strategies that you need to be worth your salt on SC2.

Well, no you don’t but that said if you have played the game for a while you will already understand how difficult it can be and a good guide can do you wonders.

Well it all comes down to whether or not the guide does indeed work and the strategies are worth knowing so we had a look at Shokz Starcraft 2 guide.

The first thing that you see on the website is the fact that he has indeed achieved the diamond rank status in the game and this is the highest you can get to on Battle.net in the rankings.

Also he has decided to spill the beans and the guide is divided up into a Terran, Protoss and Zerg guide so you can play as whatever race you want and you will get the full strategies that you need.

You want top rankings and to get the fabled Diamond rank on Battle.net?

Well now you can as there is a complete section on how to do this on multiplayer and how to work your way up there just like the creator has done before you.

Ultimate

First of all, Shokz guide is a Starcraft 2 Guide made by Shokz, a gamer who reached Diamond during Blizzards Starcraft 2 Beta. If you’re one of those who played at beta, then good for you! You’ve already got your hands playing sc2 before millions of players do. Really nice.

Now Shokz guide is not just a starcraft 2 guide, it builds a community of sc2 players worldwide, an active community, and you can expect each and every member to have the goal to improve a lot their gameplay. Know that Shokz is committed to keep this community updated with the latest strategies, newest tips, and great resources for you to feast on.

As you can see in the members area of Shokz, it is arranged in a very readable layout. You will know of new updates with the shokz guide through the blog tab in the upper left corner of the screen. Guides are organized this way at the sidebar :

I’ve also played starcraft original, brood war, and just some games on sc2 beta, and I consider myself to be somewhat an intermediate player. But I can say that shokz guide is really good for all players, be it for starcraft newbies(who haven’t played starcraft yet), those who have played starcraft(sc & brood war’s somewhat intermediate, to advanced players), and those who have played sc2 beta.

For me, this really gave me better understanding on :
1. Getting my gameplay fundamentals correct, through the general guides section, like microing & macroing, how to get the pro mentality(setting your mindset, winning & loosing), controlling the map, and many many more. Plus many many many more upcoming.

Above is a section of the ‘Mentality of a Pro’ Guide. Some info is somewhat like what you should do after each game, what about expansions/expanding, what to do when you’re in advantage, and more. Great Infos by the way.

2. specific race unit guides. The layout of Shokz for the terran, protoss & zerg unit guides are well-formed, and layed out in a very good manner. It explains in a table for a unit :

And the above are for each of the races UNITS.

Above is a page for Thor, showing point 2 above(weak against, okay against, strong against for each race), and point 3 below(skills & strategies).

3. The units skills and strategies. Shokz gives you a broad summary of its skills. And then he shows you what strategies to use with the specific unit.

4. specific race unit guides and how it fares against each of the races(not by unit, but by the overall race). Like for example :

Below is an image of this section in shokz guide.

5. Each specific race’s Strategies. Shokz also did a good job of what strategies to include for each race, useful strategies. For example :

Now the Points above are for all the three races, so there’s a number of great content in Shokz.

And here’s more :
1. There’s also a ‘request feature’ option for each and every member, so Shokz knows on what guides he should focus on, on what his members wants.

You can see above, APM guide(actions per minute – although not totally a measure of your game skill, this will also gauge your speed), best maps for each race, & marauder & ranged unit kiting. These guides will be worked on by Shokz.

2. Member Tournaments. Shokz has teamed up with starcraft2forums.org to launch the first members tournament. Registration starts July 27th to the first 128 users who sign up from Shokz Guide & Starcraft2Forms.org. Registration is expected to fill quickly.

That is a good gaming pc! (I only understood 2 lines above, i7 processor & 8 gig DDR3 RAM, and I’m sure these specs are great!) Now this shows Shokz dedication for the community. Consolation prizes will also being given out.

In conclusion, Shokz Starcraft 2 Mastery Guide is a great guide, and it has really opened my eyes to some of the best concepts & strategies of starcraft 2. By concepts I mean, somewhat like starcraft 2 lingo, or like APM(actions per minute), etc. This game involves building your skill, getting a pro mindset(focus), familiarize sc2 units & strategies, and speed as well.

Shokz guide will definitely speed up your sc2 learning curve, and will help you a very good, if not great sc2 player. So, you should certainly get Shokz Starcraft 2 Guide Now.

Starcraft 2 Guide Awesome

Shokz is a frequently updated/online based StarCraft 2 tips member site/guide available to give players of this sequel to the best selling original all of the tips and edge that they need to smoke out their competition, regardless of their race choice and game play strategy. It was written by a diamond level (Battle.net) beta testers of the game who knows all of the ins and outs and wrote the guide so that first time players can expontentially improve on their level while focusing more on a wealth of strategies for more experience players.

This guide offers information in different sections. First, there is a downloadable guide which offers basic strategies for players new to the game.

The real wealth of information comes with your access to the membership site. Here there are 100+ pages of individual strategies in video plus description format so you can see the strategy being employed in front of your eyes in addition to reading about it. Here is an exemplary video of the Zerg Extractor Trick:

There are strategies for first time players as well as more experienced players so that everyone can find something to improve upon. It also goes into greath depth on build orders and the strengths and weaknesses of different races and how they match up against each other so that you’ll be covered no matter who or what you’re playing as, with, or against.

Also included are videos detailing walkthroughs for each of the Wings of Liberty campaign missions. Here is one for Mission 5, "Smash and Grab":

Because the guide is updated frequently with new information all the time both from the author and other members, many gamers opt to go for a guide such as this versus the official hard copy guide you can buy in stores because the official guide leaves a great deal of information out, oftentimes being marketed to first time players of the game exclusively and focusing on the campaign mode, largely omitting the multi player strategies which most gamers buy the game for. Additionally, oftentimes the best strategies are those which individuals come up with themselves after playing extensively.

There is also now a section in which you can submit and request guides on StarCraft 2 tips which you have read about or come upon yourself and want to be made part of the guide.

Signed up members of the guide/site can now register for the first official member’s only tournament, with $1500 in prizes to be given away with the top prize being a custom built computer.

Given the breadth and depth of information offered in this guide combined with unique StarCraft 2 tips for players of every experience level as well as the constant updates for life so that the StarCraft 2 tips will multiply and evolve as the game experience does, as well, with more and more players, we give this guide an overall 4.5 out of 5.

Star2Pros is one of the first StarCraft 2 tip guides available to give players of this sequel to the best selling original all of the tips and edge that they need to smoke out their competition, regardless of their race choice and game play strategy. It was written by two platinum level beta testers of the game who know all of the ins and outs and was designed so that first time players can pick up the game and, by employing the strategies in the guide, defeat any opponent.

Before getting into the specifics which you get with the StarCraft 2 tips guide, it should be noted that with the guide you get constant updates for life so given that the game is still in its infancy we can expect multiple additions in the coming weeks and months.

- 1v1 Advanced Strategies – This is for when only taking on one opponent by yourself. It includes information on how to take down your opponent regardless of which race you choose and your opponent chooses. Each strength and weakness for each race is clearly laid out so that you can use them for yourself and against your enemy.

- 2v2 Advanced Strategies – When playing two versus two, the game play can change substantially with multiple races and players. This offers information on how to most effectively play with your teammate with the various races.

- Videos and Replays of Every Strategy – As part of the learning process with this StarCraft 2 tips guide, games which the authors play themselves are recorded in downloadable video format and will be covered in depth to give you a much better, first person feel for the strategies covered in the guide.

- Tournament Play Strategies –This section is for the especially advanced players who are looking to play on the same level and amongst the highest level of players in the world. It covers the strategies used by the experts for those with a better grasp on the game.

- 24 Hour Tech support team – If you’ve got any questions, the two authors of the guide are easily accessible 24 hours a day. On occasion they’ve been known to play/train players firsthand.

At the time of this review, additional strategies and specifically 3 versus 3 and 4 versus 4 strategies are coming soon via update, so watch for that in the coming weeks.

Just got this guide last night. So far impressed with the content and am looking forward to the updates!

Given the positive reviews coupled with the fact that they offer gameplay strategies for different pairings of players as well as the constant updates for life so that the StarCraft 2 tips guide will continue to improve and evolve with the game experience of playing with more and more players, we give this guide an overall 4 out of 5.

A few free tips

Do you want to learn Starcraft 2 FFA strategies to help you dominate your opponents? Winning a free for all match is quite difficult because you need to defend against more than one enemy. If you want to learn some strategies to help you dominate FFA matches, here is a Protoss free for all strategy that is proven to work.

The basic strategy that you want to keep in mind is to keep your choke closed while producing a lot of void rays. In a match like this, only build a single Gateway and a single Stargate. These two types of gates are suffice and there will be no need for a warp gate upgrade during the match.

The first step you want to take is to close your choke off with a Pylon, a Gateway and the Cybernetics Core. Build 2-4 Stalkers and 2 Immortals behind your choke and keep them there at all times. If your buildings are defeated at the choke, rebuild as quickly as you possibly can. Also, if your units behind the wall of buildings are defeated, rebuild fast!

Constantly upgrade your air attack. This is vital if you want to win the match. Once you are able to afford a Fleet Beacon, produce it right away. Remember to keep upgrading the air attack when it is available.

An important rule of thumb to keep in mind is to start scouting as soon as you have 5 void rays. Your task is to keep checking on your enemy to see if they capable of expanding to their naturals. Once you have 8 void rays, it will become much easier to scout your neighbours and enemies. Remember to retreat in case they bring their army to defend.

You will notice that when you get to mid-game, you will have a lot of excess minerals. Use these minerals to build photon cannons around your choke. Since you will not receive a lot of gas, do not build another Stargate.

Once you begin to run out of minerals, it is time to start planning about getting your own natural. By this time, you will have about 10-12 void rays and it will be rather easy for you to defend. Keep moving around the map and picking off the enemies at their natural. By this time, you will have no problem racking up a win!

If you want to learn top secret FFA strategies to dominate all of your opponents time after time, it is highly recommended to use Shokz Starcraft 2 Strategy guide.

Shokz Starcraft 2 guide is composed from all the top strategies and tactics from the best players within the Diamond division. Within this guide you will learn exactly use secret free for all strategies to dominate your opponents with any race on any map through a detailed step by step guide.
